FOOT LOCKS

Single Foot Lock off the Floor

Wrap your leg around the fabric from the outside in.

Grab the fabric next to your knee.

Pull the fabric to the side until it is in line with your hip.

Reach the fabric across the top of your foot towards your pinky toe.

Step into the loop while placing the fabric on the arch of your foot.

TIPS

*It is common to wrap your foot incorrectly, make sure the pole end of the fabric always ends up on the inside of your arch

*The measurement of grabbing by your knee and pulling until the fabric is in line with your hip will be helpful for later positions

*If your foot is in pain you probably didn’t give yourself enough slack to step in or the fabric is twisted

*When beginning foot locks may feel uncomfortable, keep practicing!
